The current exhibition at ArtRage Gallery combined with a series of speaker presentations is intended to encourage a dialogue that will help each of us figure out which truths we value most as citizens in a threatened democracy. Two Truth Tellers will engage the community this week at 505 Hawley Avenue where the gallery is located, they are:
CYNTHIA BANAS & KATHLEEN RUMPF — Two long-time CNY peace activists, Cynthia Banas & Kathleen Rumpf, will speak at ArtRage in another in a series of Truth Telling sessions during our Americans Who Tell The Truth exhibition. Their work has extended over 40 years individually and has brought to light the injustices of many wars (from Vietnam through Afghanistan), the role the USA has played in world domination and the way those practices have manifested themselves in domestic policy.

KATHY KELLY — an American peace activist, pacifist and author, a three-time Nobel Peace Prize nominee, one of the founding members of Voices in the Wilderness, and currently a co-coordinator of Voices for Creative Nonviolence.
