Syracuse, NY — The new Spencer Street bridge over Interstate 81 opened at 2:30 p.m. in Syracuse, the state Department of Transportation announced.
“We’re pleased that it was able to reopen on schedule,” said Hank Polech, a DOT spokesman.
The new Court Street bridge over I-81 is scheduled to reopen at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, the DOT said. The ramp from I-690 west to I-81 north reopened earlier today. The I-81 north entrance ramp from Pearl Street remains closed during repaving work.
